Q: |
Will oversight and accrediting agencies recognize SAMA? |
| |
Yes, because SAMA meets or exceeds the requirements for risk management of aggressive behavior problems. |
| Q: |
Can Facilitators teach people outside their sponsoring organizations? |
| |
Yes. Our intention is for as many people as possible to benefit from SAMA. |
| Q: |
Can Facilitators charge fees for teaching SAMA. |
| |
Yes. This way Facilitators or their sponsoring agencies can recoup costs and make using SAMA even more cost effective. |
| Q: |
Do SAMA Facilitators split fees with Satori? |
| |
No. Whatever a Facilitator charges belongs to the Facilitator or the sponsoring agency. |
| Q: |
Will Facilitators need to be recertified? |
| |
Yes. They will need to attend a two-day recertification class every two years. This way we can help Facilitators keep their skills high and pass on any refinements to SAMA. |
| Q: |
Facilitators are certified and the materials are licensed? |
| |
Yes. SAMA manuals and videotapes are licensed to agencies or individuals similar to the way software is issued to users of computers. |
